Adhering to the Straight Path

Sheikh Maher al-Mu'aiqly delivered the sermon on the significance of the Straight Path (Al-Sirat al-Mustaqim), which Muslims pray for in every unit of prayer. He explained that this path represents the religion of Islam, requiring beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, and the dual pillars of worshipping Allah alone and following the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ). The Sheikh warned against the devious side paths of misguidance, referencing the Prophet's (ﷺ) illustration of the straight line surrounded by devilish paths. Furthermore, he reminded the congregation of the physical bridge (Sirat) over Hell on the Day of Judgment, emphasizing that one's speed in crossing it will correspond directly to their steadfastness on the spiritual path in this worldly life.
