The Bond of Islamic Brotherhood and Mutual Cohesion

Sheikh Faisal Ghazzawi delivered a sermon emphasizing the profound obligation of Islamic brotherhood and cohesion among believers. He reminded the congregation of the Quranic declaration that believers are indeed brothers, explaining that this bond is a divine blessing that unites hearts across all physical divides. Drawing from the guidance of the Prophet (ﷺ), the Sheikh highlighted essential duties of brotherhood, such as avoiding envy, hatred, and mutual avoidance, while actively supporting and respecting one another. He illustrated this unity with the famous prophetic description of the believers as a single body, where the pain of one limb is felt by the entire body. Finally, he urged Muslims to cooperate in righteousness and piety, offering aid to those facing hardships and strengthening the collective community.
