The Divine Companionship of Allah (Ma'iyyatullah)

In today's sermon, Sheikh Usamah Al-Khayyat spoke profoundly about 'Ma'iyyatullah'—the companionship, protection, and support of Allah. He highlighted that while Allah is with all creation through His infinite knowledge, He grants a special companionship of aid and victory to the righteous (Muttaqin) and doers of good (Muhsinin). Drawing from the Prophet's (PBUH) migration to Madinah, the Imam recounted the unwavering faith of the Prophet in the cave of Thawr, where he reassured Abu Bakr with the words, 'Do not grieve; indeed, Allah is with us.' This divine companionship serves as a source of ultimate tranquility and strength during times of trials and hardships. The sermon concluded with an invitation to increase in Taqwa (mindfulness of Allah) and sincerity in worship to earn Allah's divine companionship in our daily lives.
