Sheikh Faisal Ghazzawi delivered a sermon detailing the fleeting, deceptive nature of the worldly life (Ad-Dunya) and warning against being consumed by its temporary pleasures. Drawing from Quranic verses and prophetic traditions, he reminded the congregation that the Dunya is a place of trial and a preparation ground for the eternal hereafter. However, he clarified that recognizing its lowliness does not mean adopting monasticism or abandoning worldly responsibilities. Rather, believers are commanded to cultivate the earth, seek halal sustenance, and actively spread goodness, using their worldly life as a righteous means to attain Allah's pleasure in the next.
