The sermon by Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al-Juhany praises Allah for the recurring seasons of good deeds, especially Ramadan, the month of Quranic revelation and immense blessings. It emphasizes that Ramadan is a significant month for believers, offering great rewards, while highlighting the Prophet's (PBUH) life in Ramadan as a model of calling to Allah, organizing life, reforming humanity, and saving people from Hellfire. The Imam stresses that fasting is prescribed to attain piety (Taqwa), which requires believers to restrain all their limbs from forbidden acts like oppression, deceit, backbiting, and evil speech, citing the Hadith, "Whoever does not abandon false speech and acting upon it, and ignorance, Allah has no need for him to abandon his food and drink." The sermon urges Muslims to take full advantage of Ramadan by increasing good deeds, fostering unity, and seeking Allah's mercy and forgiveness, while also praying for rain and the well-being of the Muslim community.
