The sermon by Sheikh Sudais in Masjid al-Haram focused on the severe prohibition of oppression (zulm) in Islam, emphasizing its grave consequences in this life and the Hereafter. He cited numerous Quranic verses and Hadiths, including the Hadith Qudsi where Allah declares oppression forbidden upon Himself and among His servants. The Imam detailed the categories of oppression, highlighting that Allah does not forgive oppression related to Shirk and will not overlook oppression against people, citing the dire fate of the 'bankrupt' on the Day of Judgment who comes with good deeds but is burdened by the injustices committed against others. He stressed the urgency of seeking forgiveness and rectifying wrongs in this world, particularly condemning modern forms of oppression like slander and intellectual terrorism propagated through social media. The sermon concluded with a prayer for the oppressed, especially the Palestinian people, and commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and Islamic holy sites.
