Masjid al-Haram, Makkah
October 24, 2025
The sermon emphasizes the Quran as Allah's ultimate guidance and the best of all speech, urging Muslims to adhere to its teachings. It highlights Surah Al-Fatihah as the greatest surah in the Quran, recited seventeen times daily in prayer, and essential for its validity. The Imam explains how Al-Fatihah encompasses praise, supplication, monotheism, and seeking Allah's help, as detailed in an authentic Qudsi Hadith. He stresses the necessity of returning to the Quran's guidance amidst contemporary challenges and deviations, as even the Prophet frequently admonished people with it. The sermon concludes by calling for reflection on the Quran's purposes and seeking Allah's forgiveness and guidance.
