Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais emphasized the importance of Taqwa (piety) and reflecting on the Hijri New Year. He highlighted the story of Prophet Musa (PBUH) and Fir'awn, particularly Musa's unwavering faith in Allah's help, quoting 'Kalla, inna ma'iya Rabbi sayahdeen' (No, indeed with me is my Lord, He will guide me) as a lesson in certainty and good thoughts about Allah. The sermon also referenced the significance of Ashura, when Allah saved Musa, and the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) practice of fasting on this day. The Imam stressed the necessity for the Muslim Ummah to adhere to the Quran and Sunnah, promote peace and development, and shun violence, drawing parallels between past challenges and contemporary issues.
