The sermon begins by advising believers to purify their hearts, tongues, and actions, dealing with people based on observation rather than hearsay, and assuming good intentions. It stresses the importance of gaining trust through sincerity and avoiding pretense, reminding that "every giver will be given according to what he gave." The Imam emphasizes that faith, worship, and the development of the earth are intertwined pillars. Faith guides the intellect and regulates knowledge, preventing it from leading to societal turmoil, as exemplified by the fate of past nations like 'Ad, who, despite their advanced civilization, were destroyed due to arrogance and rejection of faith. He highlights that true strength, honor, and prosperity stem from faith and piety, not merely from scientific advancements or technological innovations, which, without the light of divine guidance, cannot bring genuine happiness or peace. The sermon concludes by asserting that the light of revelation is essential for the purification of souls and the guidance of humanity, underscoring that without faith to lead the intellect and safeguard knowledge, human civilization is prone to collapse and moral decay, leading to societal and political instability.
