The Importance of Sustaining Good Deeds After Ramadan

Sheikh Bandar Baleelah
Masjid al-Haram, Makkah
April 04, 2025
The sermon highlights that the seasons of goodness and worship do not end with Ramadan, but rather it is a station for provision and a gateway for new beginnings. It emphasizes the importance of continuous obedience and good deeds, citing Islamic teachings and the Prophet's practice that consistent small deeds are more beloved to Allah. Fasting six days of Shawwal is particularly recommended as a continuation of good deeds, equating it to fasting the entire year. Believers are urged to make their entire life a journey of worship and drawing closer to Allah, as a Muslim is always either progressing or regressing.
