Sheikh Hussayn Aal Sheikh highlighted the Islamic obligation of honesty, fulfilling trusts, and the strict prohibition of cheating (ghish) and treachery (khayanah) in all aspects of life. He cited the famous warning of the Prophet (ﷺ) that whoever cheats is not part of the Muslim community, explaining that cheating in commercial transactions constitutes consuming wealth unlawfully. The Imam warned against modern forms of deceit in food, medicine, and consumer goods, which harm public health and represent a grave betrayal of trust. He concluded by reminding the believers that honesty and transparency bring divine blessings (barakah) to one's livelihood, whereas deceit deprives transactions of all goodness.
