Delivering the sermon at Masjid an-Nabawi, Sheikh Ahmad bin Ali Al-Hudhaifi urged the believers to maintain Taqwa and contemplate the rapid passage of time. Drawing from Surah Al-Furqan, he explained how Allah created the alternation of day and night as a sign for those who seek to remember Him and express gratitude. The Sheikh emphasized that this succession serves as a divine mercy, allowing believers to compensate for missed acts of worship or seek repentance at any hour of the day or night. He cited the prophetic tradition of Allah stretching His hand out to accept the repentance of those who err, highlighting that the door of repentance remains open. He concluded by encouraging Muslims to use the start of the new Hijri year as an opportunity for self-reckoning, preparation for the hereafter, and turning back to Allah with sincere devotion.
