Sheikh Al-Hudhaify delivered a sermon on the fundamental importance of security (Amn) in Islam, presenting it as a great blessing from Allah essential for both religious practice and worldly prosperity. He explained that true security stems from complete faith in Allah, avoiding injustice, and adhering to His commands, quoting Surah Al-An'am 6:82: "Those who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice - for them is security, and they are [rightly] guided." The sermon highlighted how security enables the establishment of Islamic rituals like Salah, Zakat, and Hajj, and fosters economic and social development. He also cited the Prophet's (PBUH) supplication for security upon sighting the new moon and mentioned his prophecy regarding widespread security, which was historically fulfilled, emphasizing gratitude for this blessing.
