The sermon in Masjid an-Nabawi centered on the profound lessons derived from the story of Prophet Ibrahim, his wife Hajar, and their son Ismail (peace be upon them), and the establishment of the Kaaba. The Imam recounted the detailed narrative of Ibrahim leaving his family in the barren valley of Makkah, Hajar's unwavering trust in Allah, the miraculous gushing of Zamzam, and Ibrahim's eventual return to build the Kaaba with Ismail, citing relevant Quranic verses and Hadith. He emphasized the profound faith and obedience of Ibrahim, Hajar's complete reliance on divine command, and the spiritual significance of Makkah as a sanctuary and center of monotheism. The sermon linked these historical events to the current Hajj season, highlighting the pilgrims' fulfillment of Ibrahim's call and urging reflection on these lessons to strengthen faith, gratitude, and devotion to Allah. The khutbah concluded with prayers for the Muslim Ummah, its leaders, and the protection of Islamic lands.
