March 13, 2026
In Masjid an-Nabawi, Sheikh Al-Hudhaify's sermon centered on the virtues of the last ten days of Ramadan and the importance of 'ihsan al-amal' (excellence in deeds) coupled with sincerity (ikhlas) and following the Sunnah. He cited Quranic verses from Surah Al-Kahf, particularly the emphasis on performing righteous actions solely for Allah's sake, without associating partners with Him. The Sheikh also underscored the immense blessing of performing acts of worship in the Two Holy Mosques amidst security and ease, urging the congregation to express profound gratitude to Allah and pray for the leaders who facilitate such an environment. He concluded by reminding believers that the ultimate goal is the acceptance of deeds, not just their performance, emphasizing the continuous need for seeking forgiveness and Allah's mercy.
