Sheikh Salah Al-Budair's sermon underscored that Allah alone possesses complete knowledge of the unseen (Ghaib), citing Quranic verses such as "None in the heavens or on earth knows the unseen except Allah" and "And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him." He explained that the unseen is either exclusively known to Allah (e.g., the Hour) or revealed by Him to chosen angels and messengers for specific wisdoms, such as miracles. The Sheikh emphasized that claiming knowledge of the unseen is an act of disbelief (kufr) and a challenge to Allah's Lordship, referencing prophets like Muhammad (PBUH) and Isa (AS) who explicitly denied such knowledge. He strongly warned against charlatans, fortune-tellers, sorcerers, and astrologers, stressing that consulting or believing them is a major sin and can lead to polytheism. The sermon concluded by highlighting that even Jinn do not know the unseen, as evidenced by Prophet Sulaiman's (AS) death, and condemned practices like divination and interpreting omens as acts of ignorance that corrupt faith.
