Reflecting on Allah's Attributes: Mercy, Protection, Responsiveness, and Wisdom

Sheikh Ahmad bin Taleb Hameed's sermon focused on reflecting upon Allah's magnificent attributes and their manifestations in creation and human life. He emphasized recognizing Allah through His signs in the vast universe and His meticulous management of all things, where nothing escapes His knowledge or command. The sermon particularly highlighted Allah's attributes of Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful), whose mercy encompasses all beings (7:156); Al-Hafiz (The Preserver), protecting His servants and their faith (12:64); Al-Qarib, Al-Mujib (The Near, The Responsive), hearing prayers without intermediaries (40:60); Al-Ghafur, Ar-Rahim (The Forgiving, The Merciful), delighting in repentance (39:53); Al-Wadud, Al-Karim (The Loving, The Generous), showering blessings; and Al-Hakim, Al-Alim (The Wise, The All-Knowing), whose wisdom orchestrates good even in perceived hardships (2:216). The Imam encouraged believers to seek Allah's proximity, trust in His protection, and find contentment in His wisdom, praying for hearts to be filled with His knowledge and remembrance.
