Sheikh Khalid Al-Muhanna delivered a sermon on the paramount virtue of patience (sabr) in Islam, describing it as the 'origin of every obedience' and the 'seed of every good.' He underscored that success in this life and the hereafter is inextricably linked to patience, citing numerous Quranic verses and Hadith. The Sheikh reminded the congregation that Allah is with the patient (Quran 2:153) and that their reward is without limit (Quran 39:10), as 'Every deed has a known reward except patience.' He emphasized that patience is a fortress against life's trials and a light that guides believers through difficulties, enabling them to endure hardships, fulfill religious duties, and resist temptations. The sermon concluded by stating that faith itself is half patience and half gratitude, and that those who embody patience will ultimately attain Paradise.
