The sermon underscored the paramount importance of the Shahada, 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah), as the greatest declaration, affirmed by Allah Himself, the angels, and those with knowledge (Quran 3:18). It elucidated that this kalima (word) is the very purpose of creation and the foundation upon which all divine laws and the sending of prophets are based, serving to liberate humanity from servitude to creation and direct all worship solely to the Creator. The Imam highlighted the inseparable link between Allah's Lordship (Rububiyyah) and Divinity (Uluhiyyah), asserting that true worship of Allah necessitates following His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Referencing Hadith, the sermon emphasized that sincere belief in and utterance of 'La ilaha illallah' grants protection from Hellfire and ensures the Prophet's intercession. The overarching message called for deep understanding, internalization, and practical application of this declaration, leading to a life of complete devotion and ultimate salvation.
