Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaify
Masjid an-Nabawi, Madinah
June 13, 2025
The sermon in Madinah centers on Allah's immense and encompassing mercy, which is evident throughout creation in both this world and the hereafter. It highlights that Allah sent down one of His hundred mercies to creation, fostering compassion among all beings, while reserving ninety-nine mercies for the Day of Judgment for His believing servants. The Imam explains that life and societies thrive through mercy, and its absence brings hardship and calamity. He emphasizes that Allah's revelations, divine laws, and the sending of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are all profound manifestations of His boundless mercy for humanity. The sermon concludes by urging gratitude for Allah's blessings, especially the successful Hajj season, and praying for the well-being of Muslim nations and the oppressed.
